Click the Projects tab to find capital investment and mill closures for pulp and paper mills as well as wood, timber and bioenergy plants. Choose the search criteria by clicking on the + in the Region and Grade/Product boxes. You can also click on the large + to select additional filters:

  • Project type: e.g. for New, Rebuild or Closures
  • Project area: e.g. for Pulp Mill, Paper & Paperboard Machine, Power/Energy investment, Wood mill, Wood Panels
  • Date Range: IMPORTANT!: enter the range of years that you are looking for.

Then click View Search.

Your search results will appear. Scroll to the right to see more information, like grade involved, capacity change, or the expected date of completion. Click the “Detail” button next to each project to view more information.

Click the “Export to Excel” button to export your results.

Click the “Save Search” button to save your search criteria to a custom list of saved projects.

The Save Search also enables you to create a regular email alert that would send you changes to the list of projects - or new projects that get added to your list of saved projects, if they match the same criteria as your filters. Make sure to check the Email Alert checkbox, and see more explanation further below here.

If you create a Saved Search with Email Alert for the first time, you will need to go to the preference page of the Asset Database (top right-hand corner) and turn the PROJECT EMAIL ALERTS On. Email alerts can be set by selecting any saved projects or All Saved Projects. Select the EMAIL UPDATE FREQUENCY (it's the frequency at which the database will check if any updates or additions were made to the Saved Projects view), and hit the Save Preferences button.
