What is the difference between cost benchmarking basic and full cost benchmarking?
Cost benchmarking basic is a limited version of the full Cost Benchmarking database (Analytical Cornerstone), available to subscribers of forecasts in the Asset Database.
Differences:
- Cost benchmarking basic shows cost by mill by product (unable to select cost by machine).
- Cost benchmarking basic displays the cost of the last available full quarter only (no historical data available).
- Cost benchmarking basic shows only total cash cost, but no breakdown by cost category if the subscription contains only short-term forecasts.
- Cost benchmarking basic shows cash cost per category (cost totals for fiber, chemicals, energy, labor and maintenance) if subscription contains long-term forecasts.
- Cost benchmarking basic will only show for the grades (and possibly regions) that are covered by the subscription packages.
- Some grades/products in cost benchmarking basic do not show a cost curve.
