The Asset Database (and therefore the few mills covered in cost benchmarking) mainly focuses on information related to softwood mills as Fastmarkets has traditionally focussed on softwood only. Fastmarkets is not including many hardwood mills or structural composite lumber plants.

Regional coverage: Lumber and non-structural panels: North America. Structural panels: North America and part of Europe.
