Reline Baseline Data
Reline Baseline Data allows you to change the consumption, furnish, unit costs and the delivery costs data for a mill.
The Reline Baseline Data functionality is designed to deliver users an easy way to update the basic data for a mill. Once a mill’s baseline data has been relined, it will be treated exactly like RISI data in most mill and custom market reports.
NOTE: RISI regularly updates the data for the mills in Cornerstone. If you reline the baseline data for a mill, the relined data will remain the active data, even if RISI has entered new data since the user relined the baseline data. Relined baseline data does not affect the cost or labor productivity benchmarks that appear on the mill home page, the products pages or the machine page.
Activating Reline Baseline Data Reline Baseline Data can be activated and deactivated within Analytical Cornerstone. When Reline Baseline Data is turned on, the relined values will be used in all reports. When turned off, RISI data will be used for all mills. All relined mills are activated and deactivated at once. There is no ability to turn on the Relined Baseline Data for individual mills.
Reline Baseline Data Component The Reline Baseline Activation Component appears on most mill and custom market pages immediately below the mill or market navigation on the right-hand side. The activation state appears first and is followed by the number of mills with Reline Baseline edits. To switch the activation state, click the Turn On or Turn Off button. Mill pages also include a This Mill menu which offers quick access to the Reline Baseline editors.
When on a market, you can turn Reline Baseline Data on to work with the mills' changed data on the market level - or turn it off to work without the mills' changed data.
