Report Options
Balance Date: Shows the most recent date when any mill‑level changes required a rebalance of the mills included in the market. Can be changed to check the state of the market at an earlier point in time.
Format: Determines how costs are displayed. The default format is cost by machine (paper machine or pulp dryer) by product, but this can be changed as needed.
Consumable: Allows to select the type of consumables you wish to view in the report.
Highlight/label: Opens the highlighting tools. For details, see the How to highlight and label mills or companies article on the support hub.

The Consumption reports default to the Data view, and not all of them have a Graph view. Clicking on Graph will open the graph view.
Export: Opens export options for downloading the data. For details, see the Exporting Data and Graphs in Analytical Cornerstone article on the support hub.
Custom Markets - Consumption - Consumable
Consumable - Chemical Per Ton shows the estimated consumption of coating, starch and filler. This report will only show chemicals that are relevant to the grade selected. Other Chemicals may include water treatment chemicals.

Consumable - Energy makes an additional dropdown Type appear. Type allows selection of different fuel Consumption, Energy Value or Electricity details (purchased, produced, consumed) per ton(ne) produced, per day or per year.

The Group By function allows users to organize the report according to different dimensions. This helps tailor the view depending on the scope of the market being analyzed. You can group the data by:
- Product – when multiple products are included.
- Company – when multiple mills, machines, and products are included.
- Mill Name – when several products are included in the market.
- World Region – when more than one world region is included.
- Region – when several countries or sub‑regions are included.
- Configuration – when several mill configuration types are included.
Select None to go back to the default setting that is by Mill.
Then Sort by allows to, additionally, sort the Graph by Capacity, Mill name or by type of fuel.
In the data report, each grouping displays the total capacity (per day and per year), the average capacity as well as the minimum and maximum capacities for each category, in ascending or descending order (you can change the sorting with the up or down arrows on the right-hand side of the Sort By pop-over, see image above).

Energy provides a Graph version that also allows individual Group by, Sort by and Indicate By.
Indicate by will add color coding according to the item selected. Indicate By is only available on the Graph. When using Indicate By,
- None – Default setting.
- World Region – Shows all world regions/continents if applicable.
- Region - shows different countries or sub-regions if applicable.
- Product – Shows different products (when several products are included).
- Company (default setting) – The legend shows company names.
- Country - shows different countries if applicable.
- Configuration – Shows configuration types such as Integrated, Semi‑integrated, Recycled, etc.
- Highlight – Shows one unique color and allows you to label a mill to view its cost breakdown below.
- Energy Type – The legend displays mill names.

Consumable - Fiber allows to identify the per ton(ne) fiber consumption.
Example: consumption of wood (natural fiber) for pulp mills:

Example: consumption or recovered paper for recycled paperboard mills:

Example: consumption of market pulp for virgin cartonboard mills:

Consumable - Chemical Filler shows the consumption of chemical fillers like PCC, GCC, Clay or Talc in bone dried ton(ne) and in percentage per ton(ne) produced on the Data - Filler tab:

On the Data - Filler-Supplier report, you will find the name of the chemical filler supplier - if available - in addition to filler name, amount and type of supply:

Consumable - Total Chemical Consumption shows the consumption of chemicals like coatings, alkaline fillers, etc.

Consumable - Chemical-Pulping allows to determine the estimate of use of chemicals used like lime and caustic soda for the pulping process (including for integrated mills).

Consumable - Chemical-Bleaching shows the estimated use of bleaching chemicals like caustic soda, hydrogen peroxide, oxygen, magnesium sulphate, chlorine dioxide, sulphuric acid, sodium chlorate and ozone dioxide.
