Filter news by Date
A quick walk through of how you can filter news in the Dashboard.

Overview
You can filter news by date on the Fastmarkets Dashboard in two ways.
1. Filtering news in the Global Search
By using the pre-defined filters available in the date range option in Search. This is more of a high-level filter option - notice you cannot select a custom date range.
How to
- Navigate to the Global Search.
- Add a filter or a keyword as the search criteria.
- Make sure to click on the “articles” tab to see news results.
- Click on date range and choose one of the pre-defined options.
2. Filtering news in the News Widget 🆕
By using the date picker option on the news widget and narrow down the news results to a certain time frame. Notice you can select a custom date range here. This is a recent improvement our team has introduced in September 2025.
How to
- Navigate to any news widget on the Dashboard.
- Click on “filter by date range”.
- Select a start OR end date, selecting any would filter the results.
- The news widget will refresh and show news articles as per the date filter.
