How to highlight and label mills or companies
Analytical Cornerstone provides several ways to highlight and label mills or companies. All market reports except Overview and Regional Unit Cost support highlight functionality.
You can highlight or label items using the methods below.
1. Click a Company Name in a Chart
Clicking a company name below any bar chart will apply a vertical label to the company’s associated mill(s).
2. Use the HIGHLIGHT/LABEL Menu
On any report page, click the + icon in the HIGHLIGHT/LABEL box to open additional options.
Highlight Saved Mill Groups / Label Saved Mill Groups
- These options allow you to highlight or label any of your Saved Mill Groups.
- When selected, a dropdown appears on the left-hand side where you can choose the group you want to apply.
- Note: Only mills included in your current custom market will appear.
- The colour for each Saved Mill Group must be set on the Saved Mill Groups page (see relevant article on the Fastmarkets Support platform).
Select Company / Select Mill
- Highlights the selected mill(s) on the chart.
- Also applies colour to the mill rows in the related Data Report.
Label
- Adds a vertical label showing the mill name or machine number on the chart:
Highlight & Label
- Applies both the highlight and vertical labelling.
3. Select Mills Directly from the Data Table
You can also highlight or label mills by checking the boxes next to them in the Data table.
- Once applied, return to the Graph tab to adjust label positions for best visual clarity.
- This applies horizontal labelling on the bar chart. The mill names can be moved around to display nicely on the bar chart on the Graph:
