How do I compare two, three or more specific mills with each other in Analytical Cornerstone?

With the current version of Analytical Cornerstone, you can only look at a market or at a mill. To compare two or more specific mills, this needs to be done on the market level. For this purpose, you need to create a Saved Mill Group:

  • Go to Mills, type and select the mill's name
  • click on Add to Saved Mill Group
  • click the check box in front of New Mill Group and enter a Mill Group Name
  • When adding the second mill to this group by following the same mill selection, check Existing Mill Group and then select the name of the Mill Group that you want to use.
  • Go to Markets, select Saved Mill Groups, and select the mill group that you would like to open for mill cost comparison.
  • There is no restriction as to the number of mills that can be added.
